Art is valuable, relevant and crucial to the evolution of our society.
There are some artists who revel in misery, call it inspiration, and do not believe they can be wealthy without "selling out."
But I do. And I want to build a community with creative professionals willing to be happy and wealthy.
Wealth is sustainable personal freedom.
It is a process requiring work that is not contingent on donations or charity.
(That doesn't mean I reject charity. :) I just can't rely on charity.)
It is my belief that artists whose contributions create a better quality of life for our community should benefit from their hard work.
I don't have all the answers.
But I'm relentless in asking the tough questions of myself and my successful colleagues so we can all benefit.
